I had a lousy day today - I was waiting for Robyn and was parked up for an hour and a half, so as usual, I took advantage of the opportunity to have a sleep in the car; I hadn't had a great night.
Unfortunately, I got cold and very stiff and ended up hurting all day as a result. All of which is strange because last night I was feeling quite good for a while.
It's still freezing cold although from tomorrow on it's supposed to get warmer - it needs to. It's been more or less solidly cold for the last three months when normally we get some breaks which make it more tolerable.
So, hopefully, we may be able to thaw out this week!

It just got worse.
It just gets worse - it snowed today.
I know, it's nothing really and it didn't lie. It was just damp and miserable as it's been since July.
Robyn agrees with me and she comes from a country that spends it's winters in the big minus numbers. It's just that here at the bottom of the Thames Valley it's damp -through to the bone.
And we had to go out, it was horrible.
I know I shouldn't grumble, it could be a lot worse as this Canadian poem shows;
In the town of The Pas, Manitoba
It snows on the first of Octoba
From then, for six months,
It thaws only once
And never when I am quite soba.
Anon.
