It just gets worse - it snowed today.
I know, it's nothing really and it didn't lie. It was just damp and miserable as it's been since July.
Robyn agrees with me and she comes from a country that spends it's winters in the big minus numbers. It's just that here at the bottom of the Thames Valley it's damp -through to the bone.
And we had to go out, it was horrible.
I know I shouldn't grumble, it could be a lot worse as this Canadian poem shows;
In the town of The Pas, Manitoba
It snows on the first of Octoba
From then, for six months,
It thaws only once
And never when I am quite soba.
Anon.
