It wasn't the best of weeks to start with - cracked ribs still hurting and more back problems - then it got worse.
On Tuesday we got the result of our application to extend Robyn's visa; it was refused.
Of course we are going to appeal and you'll appreciate that's not something I can talk about here. Hopefully we'll make a better job of explaining things than we did on the original application.
Neither of us can begin to deal with the consequences of losing; I can't leave this country - I need to continue getting treatment from my cancer specialist.
At the same time I couldn't cope with being parted from her - this Blog has charted our amazing love affair over the last 12 months.
We have no idea what we are going to do.
At the beginning of this Blog I said that fighting the hospital would be my last fight. Somehow I have to find the strength to take this one on as well.
Wish us luck, we are going to need it.
