It's not just that Robyn didn't get a Christmas this year, it was a lot, lot worse than that.
And, her best friend Christina Eckstein had sent her a box of cookies and the Post Office didn't deliver them in time. They didn't even deliver them late - every day we would come back from the hospital and Robyn would look to see if they had come.
They hadn't.
Yesterday they came! Now I see what the fuss was about.
Yum!
There were Chocolate coated pretzels, Sugar Cookies, Pizzelle (they taste of Star Anise...Oh Wow!), Chocolate Chip Cookies with Reeces peanut buttercup (don't ask you have to try one), Chocolate Cookies, Peanut Butter Cookies with Hershey Kisses on them (they are the brightly coloured ones....Mmmmmmh!), Sugar Cookies with White Chocolate and Peppermint Hershey Kisses.
I have never seen anything like it. Robyn smiled again.
Then there was this;
A bar of Chocolate from Willy Wonka's Chocolate factory. What could that mean?
I had to open that!
We each got a golden ticket!
It's Brooklynn's eighth birthday (Tina's daughter) and there is a very special birthday party - at Willy Wonka's factory. But you can't get in without a golden ticket.
Unfortunately it's today (3rd January) so we can't make it but what a day that's going to be.
Thanks Tina!
Mmmmh!
