I’m hanging on the telephone line
I’m waiting on a call.
A reply to a letter of mine
that’s all.
I thought by now I’d hear
about my little query
it’s six months, nearly half a year
I’m getting pretty weary.
He must be really busy
he hasn’t got the time
it’s not as though I was hoping
for a valentine.
The top man’s getting slack,
he’s got paperwork in piles.
The man who doesn’t write back
Chief Executive Andrew Liles.
It’s funny how time passes
When you’re out of luck
Or how the buck passes
when no one gives a @&%!
