Staines Lammas Band at The Walled Garden.

I picked up Robyn and her mum, Cathy, we got some food with some friends and then headed down to The Walled garden, Sunbury on Thames.

For the first time this summer, it was a warm day and even sunny, sometimes.

Who can resist the deep notes of a traditional brass band? Actually, I think this was a 'silver' band;

There was a fine mix of traditional and new, fun and sombre;

All in the setting of Sunbury's delightful walled garden;

The 'Musical Director' is Lee Woodward;

A very pleasant way to spend a sunny afternoon after a really stressful week.
